During a visit to Rudraprayag district recently, Vijay Bahuguna, Chief Minister of the state said, “By 30 September, the Yatra to Yamunotri, Gangotri and Badrinath will be resumed.”
“It will take a long time to restore connectivity to Kedarnath and the government’s first priority is to restore the highways leading to the three shrines. The government has already received an assurance of restoring the highways from the Border Roads Organisation (BRO),” Bahuguna was quoted by the Business Standard.
